The challenge was to create an event that would showcase HUGG’s strategic roadmap for the coming years while maintaining the warmth, compassion and hope that defines the organisation. The event needed to feel professional yet personal, impactful yet intimate, and required careful attention to detail to ensure the messaging and atmosphere reflected HUGG’s values of support, healing and community.

Ripple partnered with HUGG to manage the event branding for the Strategic Plan launch at Quay Wood in May 2025. Our approach centred on creating an environment that would allow HUGG’s important work and strategic vision to shine.
Strategic Planning & Project Management
We worked closely with HUGG to understand their needs, coordinate with the venue, and ensure all stakeholders were aligned. This included developing detailed project plans, managing vendor relationships and creating a comprehensive branding plan.
Comprehensive Branding Strategy
We developed a full branding plan to transform the venue space and create a cohesive visual identity for the launch. Our branding approach included multiple touchpoints throughout the venue to ensure HUGG’s message and strategic pillars were visible and impactful.
The branding elements included pop-up banners, signage highlighting each strategic pillar, a branded photo backdrop for attendees, welcome signage at the venue entrance and additional room decoration to create an immersive branded environment. Each element was carefully designed to reinforce HUGG’s visual identity while maintaining the professional yet warm tone appropriate for the organisation and event.
Content Strategy & Social Media Planning
Understanding the importance of extending the event’s reach beyond the physical space, we created a comprehensive social media content strategy. This included a detailed content calendar with recommended posting schedules for the day of the event and post-event follow-up throughout March. We developed shot lists to ensure key moments were captured, planned content outputs and coordinated with HUGG’s photographer to maximise social media opportunities from the day.
Event Execution
On the day of the event, our team arrived 1.5 hours before the official start time to manage the full branding installation. We ensured that the room layout supported HUGG’s programme. Our presence throughout the event meant any adjustments could be made in real-time, allowing HUGG’s team to focus on their guests and the important strategic messages being shared.
The HUGG Strategic Plan launch successfully brought together the organisation’s community to celebrate their vision for the future. The event provided a professional, meaningful platform for HUGG to share their strategic roadmap while maintaining the compassionate, supportive atmosphere that defines their work.
Through the thoughtful branding, and strategic content planning, Ripple helped HUGG create a memorable launch that honoured the sensitivity of their mission while showcasing their professional growth and ambitious plans for expanding suicide bereavement support across Ireland.
